Motovun

The old town of Motovun, also known as the Istrian truffle oasis, lays nestled in Central Istria. It was mentioned for the first time in the Middle Ages. At 17 km from Buzet, it is surrounded by old city walls, while its narrow streets and old buildings give us a flair of ancient times. The biggest truffle was found near Motovun and it weighed 1,310 kg.
